What should I know about Visas for Laos?
Visitors travelling to Laos for the purpose of tourism need a visa. If applying to a Laotian Embassy, you will need your passport and 2 passport size photos. If you are flying into Vientiane, Luang Prabang or Pakse you can purchase a Visa upon arrival. In either event the Visa is valid for 15 days and cost US$30 and can be renewed in Vientiane only.
