DAY 12: SAPA-HANOI ( B,L)
Morning drive to Bac Ha. Visit Bac Ha Market, the biggest typical mountainous market and surrounding villages. The mountain landscape and lush green paddy fields make this a day to remember. In the afternoon you return to the hotel. After a rest it’s back to the station for the overnight train to Hanoi
DAY 13 : HANOI – VIENTIANE ( B,L)
Arrive in Hanoi from Lao Cai, and then check in to your hotel for and have breakfast, free until to transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane (Capital of Laos). On arrival, transfer to your hotel. You then have a sightseeing tour around the city, including That Luang Stupa (1566) with a reputed relic of the Lord Buddha. The revered Wat Ho Prakeo (1565), Wat Sisaket and Pratuxai Victory Gate from which a sweeping view of Vientiane can be had.
DAY 14 VIENTAINE – LUANGPRABANG ( B,L)
Transfer to the domestic airport for the flight to the old Royal Capital and World Heritage City of Luang Prabang. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour, first visit to the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Mak Mai with a distinct shape and picture stories of Buhha. Climb up Phousi mountains (319 steps) for a great view of the city and two rivers that circle the city. You then watch the sunset on the beautiful old and peaceful city of Luang Prabang.
DAY 15 LUANGPRABANG ( B,L)
In the early morning you will see long lines of barefoot monk in procession through the streets of Luang Prabang. Afterwards travel up the Mekong by motorboat to the Pak Ou Caves, a mystical pilgrimage site above the river. Over the past five centuries, kings, princes, merchants, and peasants have come to the caves to worship, leaving behind more than 3,000 statues of the Buddha. Picnic lunch. Late afternoon, return to Luang Prabang for some free time.
DAY 16 LUANGPRABANG – VIENTIANE ( B,L)
After breakfast you visit the Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Then a visit to H’mong ang K’hmu villages, a weaving village and the Khouang Si Falls. Late Morning, return to the town and lunch in a special restaurant. You then transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane.
DAY 17 VIENTIANE – PHNOM PENH ( B,L)
Early morning start to arrive at Phnom Penh around noon – Visa processing – meet with guide for transfer to hotel. Afternoon half-day City Tour of the Capital. Some of the sites you will see are the National Museum of Khmer Arts, Silver Pagoda in the grounds of Royal Palace, River Front Park and the renowned Wat Phnom.
DAY 18 Phnom Penh – SIEM REAP ( B,L)
Today you take a morning flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival you are met and transfer to your hotel. You then take a tour including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei. In the afternoon you also have some more sightseeing that includes Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda.
DAY 19 SIEM REAP ( B,L)
Today you get to see some great sites that include the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon visit to what has been called the Seventh Wonder of the World, the Magical temple City of Angkor Wat. View a sunset at Phnom Bakheng to finish off a great day.
DAY 20 SIEM REAP ( B,L)
An Early morning start for you to view sunrise at Angkor Wat that has to be one of the great sights you will ever see. Transfer to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast more history and Wats to see including Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan, Baksei Chamkrong and South Gate of Angkor Thom. In the afternoon you will take a boat trip on Great Lake Tonle Sap and see the Floating village.
DAY 21 SIEM REAP – HO CHI MINH CITY ( B,)
Morning visit to the War Museum and Les Artisans d’Angkor - Chantiers Ecole where visitors can observe students learning traditional carving and finishing technique and visit Siem Reap Market. Afternoon free at leisure until transfer for flight departure for Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 22 HO CHI MINH CITY - flight back to the UK ( B,)
Last minutes to see HCMC and get in those last few shopping items before your flight back to the UK
