Highlights of Vietnam & Laos

A 15 day delight, taking in the sights of Vietnam and experiencing the laid back and charm of Laos.

Highlights Include HCMC, Mekong Delta, Hoi An, Hue, Ha Noi, Ha Long Bay, Vientiane & Luang Prabang.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival (D)
You will be greeted at the Airport and then transfer to hotel. Free at leisure to relax and get a feel for the city of HCMC. Tonight you will dine in the City.

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City tour + Cu Chi Tunnels ( B / L )
After breakfast a tour which includes a visit to the Presidential Palace, Notre Dam, Post Office and Ben Thanh Market.
In the afternoon, you visit the Cu Chi tunnels located just 70km from the centre of Saigon. During the war, this area was called "Iron Triangle" and was the stronghold of the Vietnamese Army (Viet Cong) against the Americans. Now the whole area serves as a museum with lively-displays about the struggle of Vietnamese people during the war. You return to Saigon in late the afternoon. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 3 : Mekong Delta ( B / L )
After breakfast you leaving the churning metropolis behind as you head south to My Tho, gateway to the Mekong Delta. Boarding your boat you cross the mighty river, and navigate the leafy island waterways to arrive at a fruit orchard for exploration. Here you sample refreshing tropical fruit and learn about the Delta way of life from your friendly local hosts, before making the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4 :Ho Chi Minh City - Hoian ( B / L )
Full day free for shopping in HCMC. You the fly to Danang. You will be met at Danang airport and transfer to Hoi An. Time to explore this great historical city over dinner

Day 5 : Hoi An Ancient Town - World Heritages Site ( B / L )
After breakfast you visit Hoian ancient town – It still preserves the complete architecture of an ancient town that once used to be a crowded and bustling commercial seaport in, Southeast Asia centuries ago, hundreds of houses built of precious wood all are still in the original styles of architecture. You stop a the Hoian Museum, old house, Japanese bridge and Old China Temple.
Afternoon free for shopping in Hoi an or relax at the beach.
